Brandywine Legacy: Aurora Goes to College
The Brandywine legacy began as Aurora Brandywine moved into the dorm at Pinewalk University, her mind racing with all of the things she hoped to accomplish.
I don't know if you can tell from this angle, but the inspiration for her face was Jennifer Lawrence.
A Fortune Sim, Aurora immediately wanted to write her term paper. First, she declared her major: Philosophy, which would be perfect for a Law degree. She has high interest levels in crime, work and money, which seemed to fit. However, her Lifetime Aspiration is to get six pets to reach the top of the career level. Certainly doable, but she'll have to give some of them away as her family grows over time.
For the Philsophy major, Aurora needed a Creativity point, so she tried painting. It's hard to tell whether she'll take to art, because she hasn't completed a painting yet. She wasn't, however, rewarded with the happy sound that indicates you've found your favorite hobby.
After finishing her term paper, she played chess with a ponytailed guy who is destined for the friend zone. In fact, when I had her check him out, she just shrugged, and no lightning bolts appeared. So, she doesn't even care enough about him to be disgusted, I guess.
For a brand-new Sim, Aurora is taking to pool, sinking most of her shots. It probably helps that there's a pool table in the common room of the dorm (part of the fabulous HiTech University collection by Iliana). Games, however, also didn't turn out to be her favorite hobby.
She played for a while with a female dorm mate wearing the Secret Society jacket. I plan to have her pursue that friendship, because I downloaded a fabulous Secret Society lot I'm anxious to try out.
After having her study Lifetime Happiness in order to keep her aspiration bar from dipping too quickly, I was about to have her explore the campus when she saw a heart cloud after walking by a fellow dormie. Sure enough, she checked him out and was rewarded with two lightning bolts. We are in business! He has a weird name, Hun something, but if things continue to go well, his last name will eventually become Brandywine.
Just one conversation, and he was already following her around the dorm! Can't argue with love at first sight, even if his nose is oddly flat from the side. He's cute from the front, and apparently, Aurora is into flat noses.
