Over on this week's simscret, linear_flower makes a comment in response to simgaroop relating all the times she's been attacked.
Anonymous speaks up and wonders if linear_flower can go for any length of time without mentioning how much everybody hates her.
A few people speak up in linear_flower's defense, and anonymous responds by saying that they are all missing the point, because linear_flower has been talking about these secrets for MONTHS, and mentions her constant bringing up of old things as "necromancy."
linear_flower then flounces, saying that she's just never going to talk in the fandom again. Oh, except for here, of course. This part of the thread is then frozen, so nobody can be MEEN anymore.
exaggeratesims jumps in and says, it's actually called necroposting and that necromancy is the wrong term.
wolfsilveroak, generally known for talking a bunch of shit she knows nothing about, pipes up and proceeds to go on and on and FUCKING ON about how necromancy is the WRONG TERM.
She even goes so far as to say that no one she's ever talked to has heard of it. Therefore, it must be a NEW TERM, and that she believes it is DUMB and UNEDUCATED to use the word in such a way.
tinkerbell_hips, coliss and a couple of anonymous people provide her with several links to Urban Dictionary and MATY, showing her that the term for resurrecting an old thread IS necromancy and telling her how much her logic fails. She wisely shuts up at this point.
Sadly, wolfsilveroak did not take the dare to go over to MATY and call them all dumb and uneducated for using the term necromancy. Which is too bad, because I would have liked to see that.
EDIT: wolfsilveroak did indeed go over to the MATY forums, after Zazazu posted a thread entitled "Necromancy is a fake term; did you know?", where she was smacked down quite soundly by the MATYians. Thanks for that, Wolf. I did want to see it, and it was every bit as beautiful as I'd hoped.
