Last night, much to my body's dismay, I crawled oozed went to the Philosopher Kings concert downtown.

They are an extremely talented group. So talented, that they don't need to rely on the attention PK draws; they all have their own side projects which are immensely popular.

I went to Arts County Fair for the fourth time tonight; held at UBC Stadium.

It wasn't.. anything like it's been in the past. The stage was miniscule, the crowd was completely and violently sloshed, and people actually sunk so low as to throw dangerous objects at the performers ( Read more... )

And, to a lesser extent, Three Days Grace. I don't know how it even crossed my mind that I'd sell my ticket off, and then go home or something, but I'm glad that retarded thought was dashed from my brains the minute I parked at the Coliseum.

I just got back from the Matt Good concert.

That was... absolutely bloody amazing. I will class this as the third greatest live show I have ever had the good fortune to experience.

I am completely deaf and partially smoked-out, and I have no idea where to start.

I haven't missed a single Good showing in Vancouver for the last 5 years now. And holy sweet mother of Jesus there's a reason why. He is amazing. Amazing. I really can't describe it any better than this.
