If you're interested, I have quite a bit more Eduardo/Sean on my social network tag or at AO3 here. I really love the idea of them together. I guess I feel like Sean needs a good influence to make him less of an asshole and Eduardo needs a bad influence to get him to cut loose and be assertive. ;)

Oh and the one where Mark is a bit of a user without feelings but not in an intentional way and Eduardo falling in love with him may have to do more with his own looooow self-esteem and Sean is kind of hilarious and seductive and such a guy but completely a better option than Mark = Awesome.
Of to read Coming of Age. Wohooo!

watching Sean discover Eduardo is like watching him find the best treasure ever
MTE. I really love fic where someone is realizing that Eduardo is great. *g*
wheee Coming of Age doesn't get read by many people SO THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Because it's like my pairing manifesto. How I see Sean as kind of a more cynical & slick future version of Eduardo and why they're an interesting pairing... cleverly disguised by lots of porn. :D
FYI, here are some other Sean/Eduardo fics I'd rec:
When It Works, It Works; When It's Broke, It's Perfect by banananonana
Jumps back and forth through time between an established happy Sean/Eduardo who have been together for 4 years and the screwy Sean Parker of TSN who began to be drawn to Eduardo.
We Are The Living People by slippery-fish
"Eduardo has changed. Sean notices."

Umm...I'm embarrassed by how easily and clearly I can picture that and frankly how very on board I would be with young!sweetEduardo and older!burnedEduardo. Sean has an extra shark edge to him; as the reader you know he has knives in hand and he'll happily slice through anyone. But when he finds some person he wants to be loyal to, I think he'd fight to the bone for them. Everyone else though, fuck 'em.

I wish I could pimp it to the world. That first story is essentially businessman/pretty naive rent-boy-esque guy perfection. PERFECTION. And I know I've rambled about this, but my virginity kink where Eduardo's sweet and flustered and feisty is utterly and completely satisfied.
So excited about Groundhog fic! And off to read these great recs. :)

I've discussed this with people before, how I find it much easier to buy into Sean/Eduardo set post-movie than Mark/Eduardo that's set post-movie, and that's not only because anything that Sean did against Eduardo was towards a relative stranger -- which is a HUGE difference than betraying your best friends' trust -- but also because I find Sean's actions comparatively more sympathetic to class issues...
I think it's hard to miss the large class discrepancy, because, fuck, Mark & Eduardo are attending HARVARD. The likelihood of anyone getting into that university... I've seen the stats before, and it's insane. And then not only do we have the indication that Eduardo came from money, but the ~casual high school sweatshirt that Mark is wearing? Actually an uber elite private high school. (And then of course there's the disdain of BU that he displays in from of Erica.) No matter what Mark spouts out about the Winklevii, he himself is ( ... )
