So . . . I read this on the kinkmeme, then I read this on here, and now I will probably read it about fifty more times (and ugh I have a massive problem set due on monday!). And I just wanted to say how much I loved this one (too!- because I've been obsessed with your sean/eduardo fics (please never stop writing that paring- I'm an absolute addict ( ... )

Thank you so much! ♥ ♥ (I'm not going to stop with S/E any time soon, I promise.)

I loved this- because I think it's something we're still owed- computers should act most efficiently, humans should aim a bit higher.
*nods* Absolutely. I love that Eduardo is still angry in the depositions, this small burning indignation, because I want the Eduardo that I love to never stop being a little angry, to never accept that it was okay. To never accept that signing that contract was a bad business decision -- because it never, ever should have been. Because a company doing that to an employee, executive officer or no, is fucking unacceptable. Though I do love matured, slightly embittered and jaded Eduardo... I never want him to lose that edge of goodness, that guy who thought that maybe FaceMash was a bad idea, who assumed that Mark had apologized to Erica, who wanted to know the age of the girls in the house, who thought Mark meant "I need & miss my best friend" when Mark said, "I need my CFO," even if Mark really meant, "I need you to be ( ... )

There were so many things I liked about this: the way the story unfolded, the understated tone, all the insights about Eduardo and how he was flawed but still somehow, the best thing that had ever happened to Mark. But even though I spent a good part of this wanting to bash my head against the wall because Mark was an oblivious ass, his characterization was definitely what made this story for me.

LOL, somehow this makes me so happy. Because I am a strange person. heeeee. I guess maybe because canon Mark makes ME want to bash my head into a wall a lot, so if I make other people want to do that to my Mark, I feel like... it's really Mark? lololol.

Thanks so much, bb. I love your feedback.

You are very welcome! And yah, I agree, the Mark I most want to punch usually does feel like the truest Mark ahahaha.

Fantastic, fantastic exploration of Mark's deliberate self-centeredness and how he came to realize that Eduardo wasn't just another replaceable friend. (How ironic, when Fb has made "friend" such a casual word to use.) And I really fell in love with this Eduardo in that interview, where he acknowledged mistakes but felt all the more strongly about the importance of fidelity.

I absolutely did not see the ending coming. O_O

I really like the style in which you laid this fic out, and I like how Mark really, really didn't see why Eduardo was angry at first, his utter callousness at times. His patience was an interesting thing to bring up, and something we don't see mentioned a lot. Eduardo's speech to that journo was brilliant.
