Journey's End Reactions Part Uno
So this are two lists of what I loved about DW 4x13, so I can get it all out and squee and sob and stuff. And then I shall re-watch it tomorrow and talk about the pure awesome that was this ep.
♥ Donna losing her memories. I cannot get over how tragic it is that after everything she's done, everything THEY'VE done and she has no memory of it. It's so, so sad.
♥ Rose being with the Doctor that's not the Doctor - she's always going to look at the REAL Doctor, and he him as her Doctor. He's the same but different.
♥ The Doctor loving Rose so much that he let her go, and insisted she had a proper life with the closest to him there is.
♥ His face when they kissed - he was being torn apart but happy for her at the same time. And that he left then because he just COULDN'T watch it.
♥ Not being able to tell her that he loved her, because it's just to human. And that human-Doctor did.
♥ That Rose accepted the 'other' Doctor when she kissed him, and that he became her Doctor in that moment.
♥ All of the Doctor's companions with him, in the TARDIS, fighting along side him.
♥ Rose finding out from Martha how legendary she is.
♥ The Doctor probing Rose about her fighting all that time to come back to him.
♥ THE HUG OF AWESOME.
♥ The Kiss. OMG THE KISS. I saw it zoomed back on DW confidential AND IT IS THE MOST PERFECT KISS EVEERRRR.
♥ Jack pumping that thing on the TARDIS. This program is FILTHY! I thought RTD was gonna leave it all subtle, but OH NO. Donna makes it even more hilarious (and rude) with her comment. V.well suited that Jack was doing THAT.
♥ Jackie not doing anything - and the way the Doctor told her! LMFAO at the arm-pat :D
♥ THE SPINNY DALEKS. I died.
♥ DONNA/JACK! Everything about this was AWESOME! THE HUGS! OMFG when Donna SHOVED S-J! THIS IS THE BEST SHIP EVERRR! (Aside from the ship of awesome, obvs.)
♥ Dalek German.
♥ Jack and Mickey = HILARIOUS. "Mickey Mouse" "Captain Cheesecake". I want an icon of Jack with the words "Captain Cheesecake" :D And then "beefcake more like" (LMFAO brat_pack_vogue
♥ Donna with part of the Doctor in her. (shut up Izzy)
♥ NAKED DOCTOR! I screamed and hid my eyes.
Up until Bad Wolf Bay, I was just sitting thinking (and shouting) "THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME FINALE EVER." And it really was.
The saddest thing was that although Rose was ROSE, and for a little bit it was just her and the Doctor again - it's not anymore. It's not 'The Doctor and Rose', and he NEEDS her. And I know the other Doctor needs her more, and she loves him - srs, from that kiss. They will be giving Jack a run for his money. But they're not 'The Doctor and Rose' like they were before, and I miss that, and that's what I was looking forward to MOST of all when I heard she was coming back.
I think she will come back. I think she's got her little happy ending for now, and she will go off and have lots of Doctor-babies. But the OTP-er in me wants, right at the very end, when DW is ending, for them to walk off into the sunset together.
Damn this is a horrible mixture of tragic-happiness.
EDIT: OMG THE KISS. I THINK I HAVE DIED OF SQUEE FROM THAT KISS. Because she LOVES him and she ACCEPTED him and it's ROSE kissing THE DOCTOR. AND THE KISS! I MUST HAVE ICONS!!
*feels sad because she wants the real Doctor and Rose to kiss*
