My assessment of the game is practically identical to yours; I didn't like Marluxia as much in this one, and I agree that this version was alot less dramatic, very flat. I liked Marly better when he was a manipulative, greedy bastard. Ah well, at least the 411 showed itself more in here =^^= As for Larxene...she's still great, but I could have done without her Axel-molesting. *shudder*

I've said this a thousand times, but the death scene was amazingly short. Though, I agree, it was so-very-painful watching Vexen screaming for Axel to stop and Axel just saying "See ya" and snapping his fingers. That was, admittedly, better for me than the more-than-corny lines he gives in the original. It's just...I would have liked it to be more drawn out.

I actually got the opposite impression of Axel. I thought he was more of a ratbastard in the original game. In this one, he seems more joking, kind of, like, the whole dramatic "Give me one hell of a show" thing dissolved into him laughing to himself about how entertaining watching people being themselves is. So...I was a bit disappointed u.u I'm an Axel-whore, unfortunately XD Bastard he may be.

Haven't seen Zexion's death, and I'm not sure I want to. I didn't like watching it in the original, either. Still, I agree about fangirls ruining his image. I see waaay too much emo-Zexy crap on the Internet. Gods 0.0

Well, just watched it...unnggh, I take back all I said about Axel NOT being a complete bastard. That was just...wow. Poor Zexion. I think I just died a bit inside. Really.

Axel's EVIL. But he's still my favorite character, because, like you, I enjoy manipulative people ^^'
