Well, having pretty much moved in, I had my first full week of work + school. Cable guy showed up so we now have cable and internet. Nothing much left to do. Did grocery shopping, got basic needs for the kitchen, etc. Wednesdays are clearly going to be my bad days: I don't get back till about 10, 10:30 and then I die. Fun, eh? :)
Anyways, I love my job. I couldn't have found a better place to work. Everyone is really friendly and nice. Plus, it's great to have support for my education rather than them seeing it as a negative. Helps that the guy I work with/for was a nearly a Hunter grad (he transferred out last minute to Queens) of the same program.
School itself seems fine. I will own statistics (obviously), though I enjoyed mocking people's expectations by easily rattling off the order of teams in the AL East. :) Then was TV Programs and Audiences, henceforth referred to as the DEATH CLASS(tm). Trust me, this class is going to own my soul 10x over. A lot of out of class work. Ah, well... they can't all be easy..
Research Methods looks good, too. Get some more practice in field observation and interviewing. Thankfully I still have my recorded from when I did those interviews for that other paper at Brandeis. WIN. :) Mass Culture will hopefully not be more of the same in terms of content as my undergraduate classes, but so far so good. Teacher is a little... odd.. I guess, but definitely knows what he's talking about.
Enough about school; I know what you all really want. Pictures!
