(at almost 1:00am?? lol) sounded tempting, because for one i'm not tired and i'm bored beyond belief... and secondly, i'm in need of someone to talk to, been pretty depressed... and no, the depression hasn't left me yet. but i declined. i guess i feel a bit guilty

I don't see the harm in having guy friends. In fact, I think i see harm in NOT having guy friends because you have a boyfriend. One of my best friends for awhile was a male, and my then-boyfriend was insanely jealous of the fact that we even *talked*! Mike is totally cool with my guy friends, he has some friends who are girls, and I have no problem with that. I dont' feel guilty with other guys because I know where the line is, not that I'd even want to cross it. If you can't trust each other, it's over anyway. :(

well, i'm no expert on the subject, but i once heard the word "cheating" defined in a way that really sticks to me as the truest definition- if you do something with a person that you wouldn't want your partner to know about, or act a way you wouldn't act w/ your partner present, then it's probably cheating.
actually that may be off the subject though... obviously you're not talking at all about cheating. i just meant to point out, by saying it, that you would have no reason to feel guilty as long as eric knew you were hanging with male friends.
