I love these versions of Sabocat, especially "I Can Haz Collective Bargaining?"!

I was enchanted with the delightful 19C French history paintings involving Richelieu and cats - such a change from his usual image, being dignified and aloof in lots of expensive curtain-material.* It's impossible for anyone to stay dignified and aloof for long in the presence of miaowing furballs of various sizes.

This is too cute for words: Armand du Plessis, Cardinal and Duc de Richelieu - cat-lover. Is this where the 'Bond villain stroking cat' motif comes from?
