This month is not as good as the highs of last month, by a long way.
I point you in the direction of Jo's journal if you have rats or small animals and you were just becoming aware of SDAV that is, once again, doing the rounds. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. All of the rat owners I know treat their rats as good as children (or in my case, a million times better) yet there are still some people who seem to have no regard for their own or other peoples pets. In fact, I've heard of some people saying that they'll show anyway, regardless of risks. I won't berate these people since they've been punished enough by being gifted with the rotten lettuces they call their brains.
Also, if you hear about it and think "Oh, well my rats are okay!" you're doing it wrong. It's great if they haven't but you need to keep your guard up, ferchrissakes! Complacency will lead to...badness.
Just don't panic, people! Follow the advice and do what you can. Hang in there, little guys!
PS, on a final note it has been a bit of a shitty day but I would like to thank someone who has made me giggle somewhat every time I search for his posts and find . Thanks, Mr Towers, you are fried gold!
