update update update

I figured I'd update. So I thought I'd do an update for my friends here and try to get into the swing of writing again. Because life became busy and then after it didn't become busy, I grew lazy in writing and just enjoyed reading. And playing my various games on Facebook. And oohasparklie poked me and stuff. So, yeah. SHOULD WRITE ( Read more... )

Yeah, you do need to save. France is not cheap. But it's worth every penny.

Oh yeah, just been busy. Will try to keep up.

Being Human. Isn't that BBC show? I think I saw a commercial while flipping channels the other day.

Saw Sherlock. So slashy was the only thing that went through my mind.

Thanks for posting. I really miss you when you're gone, and I'm not much of a Facebook person. I swear I'll be the last LJ holdout. It's getting quieter and quieter around here ( ... )

I think I'm just more addicted to the games on Facebook. I sit around fertilize a few farms, play with my pet, dress my pet and buy her cute furniture to decorate her house with. It's sadly time consuming.

I noticed it was quiet around here. It seems you are one of the few that still write! I also haven't talked to Wicked in forever! She's never online to chat. Miss that a lot.

I'm glad everything is turning out good again. And the design business? How is that going?

What is Apolo Ohno? I'm so behind.

Sorry for being so slow at replying!

I'm really bummed that nobody seems to be LJing anymore. I've always loved it here and loved the way this site is set up. Twitter drives me insane with the one line tweets, and for some reason I've never really warmed to Facebook either. (I'm not normally one to play those games, so I constantly have people sending me stuff I never respond to there.)

Apolo Ohno is a US Olympic Speed Skater. He's in my icon. He also lives very close to me here in Utah. I saw his house. Heh.

Suddenly the FB snippets make more sense ;)

None of my colleagues live inside Paris, and none of them even wants to. It's amusing how everyone else I know who has visited wants to come back :D
(though of course I'm biased : I *love* the town)

Yeah, was in the process of moving. The only thing is my HD TV tuner doesn't work properly. I think it really died during the move. It only tunes into some of the HD channels but not all of them. I think it'll be cheaper to buy a new one than get it fixed. My address is still the same, Hiyami, except I moved from the 8th floor to the 14th floor. Just to let you know.

I miss Paris a lot. I think mostly because at this time last year I was planning to go in June. And this year, I'm not.

Hey! It's good to see you on the friends page. I was wondering what you had gotten up to. We met in London for a strange culinary experience and for Jude!

I agree about the Oscars. I was ecstatic to see The Hurt Locker do so well. It's a great film and it's about time a woman won Best Directing. I loved Alice in Wonderland, but then again, the stranger movies are, the more I seem to like them.

I remember you!

Yeah, I've been busy. Swamped. Ugh. But I will try to catch up. I still haven't written about our adventure last year. I should do that. I only have it written in my moleskin diaries but I want to keep a digital record of it.

I haven't seen The Hurt Locker. It didn't show here though I suddenly saw a poster for it the other day. I guess it will release here now that it won so many Oscars. I'm curious to see.

Nice to hear how you're doing! LJ does seem to be getting a little quieter. I find it easier to stay up to date here though than Facebook. That just moves too fast for me. I can't keep up!

ps. I miss Paris a lot too.

Yeah. I realize that Facebook is great for passing messages back and setting up events to hang out with friends. And looking at photos from friends that no longer live near me. But LJ is much easier to keep up to date in a more indepth way. LJ is awfully quiet.
