Job Interview and Sean Connery

So, today I had a job interview for a lateral transfer into another district here at my work. See, we have the office divided up into districts. Districts 1, 2, and 3 are for all the residential properties including churches. District 4 and 5 are the Commercial and Industrial properties, or C&I, and deal with retail and commercial companies, including big guys like Hitachi, Intel, and Adobe. District 6 is for the special properties that require specialized appraisal skills. Things like golf courses, gas stations, and water companies. District 9 is the appeals team that handles residential appeals.

I currently work for District 3, a residential district, and I am looking to move over into district 4, 5, or 6. It will be more work and more math intensive but I want to do the harder stuff...and I LIKE math. I think I did OK in the interview but it is really hard to tell. I mean, I didn't throw up on them or anything so that is good. But I answered all their questions and I think I told them what they wanted to hear but who can really say? Guess I will find out when they make their decision. And this is for experience only and the future possibility of getting the Appraiser III position (I am currently an Appraiser II). There is no extra money involved or anything. But, it opens the way for me eventually becomming a Senior Appraiser and even if I do not get this position, it lets them know that I am interested in it and serious about moving up.

"That's great, but what the hell does Sean Connery have to do with all of this?"

Nothing, really.  But I just recorded the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award show for Sean Connery on USA network and if any of you have this cable channel, look it up and record/watch it.  All I need to say is...ZARDOZ!  Yes, during Mike Meyer's opening introduction, they showed a picture of Mr. Connery in Zardoz...banana-hammock and bandoliers.  "Nuff said.
