shiny and new
I spent way too much time yesterday playing with a new layout for my journal. It is very pretty and I've always had a thing for black and white photographs of trees. I'm pretty happy with it although there are still a few teething troubles that need to be ironed out. I'm fussy; the layout was originally designed without a sidebar and the addition of one has made things all screwy. The main thing that annoys me is the blank space that appears before large embedded videos (if it is wider than the entry size) because the sidebar gets in the way. I figured out how to fix it for large images but not for the video. Grrr. I'll probably fix it at some point but now I've run out of patience for fiddling about with CSS.

My plan for the evening is to start reading the first issues of Birds of Prey. I discovered that there were a lot of issues that I hadn't read because I was getting them muddled with the prequels. It should be fun! Or I might read the end of No Man's Land. I don't know, the possibilities are endless.
