A belated Happy New Year's to everyone! I've learned from previous years and consequently this year, only have one extremely superficial resolution. It is so superficial that I dare not mention it, for fear of prompt shunning. XD
Went to Toronto with my mom to see relatives. Went shopping in a huge Chinese supermarket - it was an eye-opening experience. It was so strange to see mustard (French's, no less) next to exotic Asian sauces. They also had green tea flavored egg tarts! Yum - though I have yet to actually eat one (tomorrow's breakfast?).
saiunkoku_fic's Secret Santa exchange is up. Someone write this amazing modern day AU with Shouka (for me *_*) that is filled with wonderful details. There are many other lovely fics up! Go read - please! I also submitted something for the exchange. Would anyone be interested in guessing in exchange for gift!fic? (The lovely cheloya helped me immensely by doing a last minute beta and I owe her so much - will endeavor to have fic for you sometime this month ♥)
The talented murinae has posted the first part of an extremely gripping Hikago!fic which involves in no particular order Akira, frogs, Hikaru, an accusation of cheating, Ogata, and some of the most wonderful present tense writing I've had the pleasure to read.
I've been volunteering at a local hospital during break & have learned at least a little. Also spent an extremely pleasant New Year's Eve at a friend's house (where said superficial resolution was made) and demonstrated how terrible I am at vocals. Overall I am enjoying break very much, though I feel that should be making more of an effort at keeping in touch with people. *fails*
