The Numpty List - An Honourable Mention
Today's entry really only rates an Honourable Mention.
You get to see a lot of what goes on inside cars when you're on the back of a bike. The little added height gives an excellent angle in through side windows - especially at traffic lights.
People talking on phones is unfortunately commonplace, as is watching them try to send text messages while they slowly roll their cars towards the bumper on the one in front of them. Annoying, yes; illegal, certainly; but hardly surprising or noteworthy.
Reading the paper stretched across your steering wheel is a little disconcerting, especially as more of than not it is the Canberra Times - a broadsheet. I personally find it hard to believe that anything that paper prints could be worth the trouble of trying to read it while driving.
Today's Honourable Mention however goes to someone who at least introduced me to something new. Brushing ones teeth while driving. An electric toothbrush, a cup of water and opening the door to spit.
At least he missed my boots.
