【Diabolik Lovers】 lyrics: Kindan no 666
I'm baaaaaaack~!!! Yeesh, it's been so long since I've done ANYTHING with my lyrics that I'd nearly forgotten how to do all of this... But thankfully, finals are over and winter break is here and now to try to work on catching up... *looks at to-do list and weeps* Dang...dedicate 4 months or so to schoolwork and EVERYTHING comes out to back up my list!! OTL So after the slow start, here's some Diabolik Lovers!
Technically, the VS Song albums started being released before the MORE,BLOOD OP Theme, but meh, I figure I'd rather get this one out of the way first. (which is just an excuse because I can't find the spoken bits in "REDRUM" again...) Now for some notes:
- Well, Ayato and Shuu got to duet for the season 1 OP theme, so for season 2, we get a Mukami duet~ It's Kou & Azusa! (as for the ED theme, it's an instrumental just like season 1's, and it's even called "nightmare-2" this time)
- For those of you who don't already get the reference, the number "666" is considered a symbol of the devil in modern [pop?] culture. This is derived from something in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelations, according to wikipedia. Also, the pronunciation they use in the song is literally "Three Six(es)".
- And as we should all have come to expect from Dialovers songs, this one contains it's share of odd word replacements and alternate pronunciations. Only about three of them caught my attention as worth mentioning:
[Line 1] : 「血死量」 "chishiryou" = kanji for the term is normally "致死量", meaning "lethal dose"; first character replaced with the kanji for "blood"
[Line 2] : 「伝染経路」 = substituted with "Infection Roote," the kanji literaly divides 伝染 ("infection") + 経路 ("route/path" or "process/means"); So I assume the "roote" mispelling was intentionally a mesh of "root" (as in "source") and "route" (as in "path")
[Line 10] : 「弾痕」 = kanji meaning "bullet hole," substituded with "akashi" ("proof/evidence"); I used "Bite marks" because, let's face it, these are vampires we're talking about here!
- Also, "More,Blood" TITLE DROPS in the refrains!
I think that's about all I've got for this round. Like I said, my whole process is kinda rusty... And I did manage to find occasional 12min gaps in my schedule to keep up with the anime releases. This ending, just like UtaPri Maji LOVE Revolutions, is just the anime's way of saying "Don't worry, this cliffhanger just means we'll be back with a sequel!!!" Anyway, I'll be visiting family over the holidays, so I can't guarantee when I'll be able to get some more of these done.
