Brenda Novak's Auction
Brenda Novak, NYT's best-selling author is a woman on a mission. When her son was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, she did her homework. When she discovered the shortage of funds for research, she called upon her friends in the romance writing community and started the auction. To date, the auction has garnered over $750,000 for research. Her goal this year, despite the economy, is to put the auction's contributions at over a million dollars.
