One of the things authors sweat (one of many actually--lol!) is what the professional reviewers think about their book. WILL their book be reviewed? How will it be received? Will the reviewer "get it"? Well, I got really-really lucky! For those of you not really into romance, one of the "big dog" reviewers is Romantic Times magazine. I just got my copy of the June issue. And right there on page 108 is the review for FAERIE FATE.
Romantic Times magazine gives FAERIE FATE FOUR STARS!!!!!!
While I would love to get 4 1/2 stars (the top ranking), I am more than pleased to get 4! For a debut book? From a small press? You betcha boy howdy! *SQUEEEEEEE*
This is a wonderful mix of adventure and humor, with an unforgettable heroine who follows the voices in her head and travels back to a time of handfasting, dreamy Irish me and clan wars. Although Ciaran and his Irish ways are not new to romance novels, Becca is extremely humorous and fun, and makes the reader laugh out loud as she waltzes into yesteryear.
