So my sister mentioned liking Supernanny (she has cable) and I went to Hulu to see if there were any new episodes - I started watching at the end of season 6, and Hulu only had the last five episodes aired - only to find that Hulu doesn't have it anymore, apparently because they're not airing it any longer. ABC lists six seasons but doesn't have any streaming, because they're idiots. LOL And I tried Netflix, and they have seasons one through five available to be saved to queue, so I suppose eventually I'll be able to get them that way, but no Supernanny for now. But Netflix will suggest other series available for instant play for any show you're searching for, so I decided to give Pushing Daisies a try, and if it's any good it'll be my new dish-washing entertainment.
I just have one comment, from about halfway through the first episode. Chuck asks the guy whose touch revives the dead (and second touch renders them dead again, permanently - if he revives a person for more than 60 seconds, someone ELSE drops dead as a consequence) if he goes around reviving murder victims, asking who killed them, and rendering them dead again for the reward for finding their killer. As if it was a BAD thing for him to be doing that. Now as a murdered person herself (and well after the 60-second limit, I don't know if she realizes that someone else died so that she could stay alive, yet) I can see how she might feel that reviving someone just long enough to find out who killed them is a little harsh. But seriously, even with the money involved, finding murderers is actually a public service that DESERVES reward. Why else do we pay the police? Nobody thinks police detectives should go around capturing murderers for FREE. Sheesh.
