Thank you so much for writing this! I feel honored to have a fic written for my prompt. It was really a sweet little story. I'm so used to seeing Hisagi be the strong one, always taking care of Kira. It's nice to have them switch roles, so to speak. I loved the cuddle scene under the blankets. Very subtle and emotional.

Since you ask for suggestions, here are some ideas:

If heavy rain is unusual in the Seireitei, then Hisagi, quite literally, might not know to come in from the rain. He might not be aware of how ill a person can become from staying out in a long, cold rain. Also, Kira's house may not be very rain-proof. He may not have thought to close the shutters, and therefore may have a wet mess in certain parts of the house.

When he brings Hisagi inside, Hisagi is probably chilled to the bone. Izuru might insist that Hisagi have a good long soak in that tub. The water in a Japanese soaking tub is very hot and typically goes right up to the chin. And remember, one washes oneself before entering the soaking tub

Gah, sorry for the late reply. Have been drowning self in class projects recently x_X Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm always highly insecure about my writing, and that feeling's pretty much doubled or tripled when I'm specifically writing for someone.

Re bath suggestion: yeah, I initially did have that in the story, but it changed the pacing of the story to something I didn't really like (it made things drag a bit), so I cut that scene out. Let's just assume that Hisagi was too tired, so he delayed his bath until morning. xD Thanks for the other suggestions too!

Re alright vs. all right: not sure what non-standard means, but really? Oh, I didn't know that... my teachers have always been OK with me writing 'alright'. (Could it be because I'm Australian? Haha).

That could be it. Spelling standards vary from English-speaking country to English-speaking country. I'm from the U.S., so I was imposing my standards on you (hmm ... we kinda have that habit, I'm afraid ... ~_~ ).

Aww, I'm afraid that once I cut something out of a fic, I delete it entirely, so I don't have a copy of it anymore (and since my brain was a bit dribbly at the time, I don't really remember what I wrote XD). Sowwie. T_T

Well, Silver doesn't like writing as much as doing art, and I can't draw to save my life. So we don't collaborate in fics per se, but we collaborate in fanwork in other ways. Like in Utterly Spoiled, the Hisagi/Kira fic-and-pic we did for Hisagi's birthday ... we count it as one fanwork, but I wrote the fic and Silver did the art. :)
