So Uther, by Jack Whyte. I've read Whyte before; he wrote a series about Templar Knights on the Third Crusade. In retrospect I had similar objections. There are little music rooms here that you can sign out to use. One has drums, one has a good upright, and two have deconstructed and badly-out-of-tune pianos.
