First things first. I got a call today for an interview in Greenville! The junior high/elementary schools need a secretary, so I get to sell myself to that end. That's pretty much all I know about the job, so I'll find out when I get there, I suppose. The interview is on Thursday, October 6, and any prayers are greatly appreciated!
Other than that, I have no job leads--real or otherwise. I couldn't find a single job to apply to when I searched this morning. If I thought jobs were scarce when I started looking, I should have seen it now. It's like all the jobs shrunk back into their little holes and won't come out until the world heals itself. I just can't seem to find one to save my life.
In other things, I'm really enjoying working with Josephine--or Josefina, if you want her true name--as part of the VITAL program. She's very funny and is so eager to learn. Her motivation should be a lesson to me. I'm so glad I signed up for the program. It gets me out of the apartment and makes me forget about my miserable existence for at least a few hours every week, which is worth its weight in gold right now.
I'm not sure what I'll do with myself when I run out of book series to read. Anyone have suggestions? I'm working on the Twilight saga right now, and before that it was the City of Ember series. That's sort of what I'm in the mood for. Please help!
