13 weeks?
13 weeks is a long time to not have posted. thanks, lj for pointing that out.
so my life is interesting and yet boring.
still working full time @ the depot.
i'm marching spartans this summer, and so far I LOVE IT!!
i've had the longest dry spell of decent men in my entire life up until last night. and it's so damn bittersweet, this whole thing. more details on that later.
i'm going back to school in the fall (not umass just yet, sorry, i just dont have the $$)
i have a CAR!!! well, SUV... but still...
at the end of the summer i might be moving out of the house and in with a friend from work.
i go on tour to the WEST COAST!!! july 27th-august 13th so if you're thinking of calling/texting me to go to the beach with you during those days, FUGGET ABOUT IT!
So last night I went on a date with this guy I met at work. I've only known him for about a week, but during that week we went from 'haha we're both really outgoing people let's joke around' to pinching each other whenever we see each other, to last night's date where we went to a movie, and ended up in each others arms just talking in the back of my mountaineer. Now, I really wanted to try to keep to the 'no kissing on the first date' thing, but during the movie i went to readjust myself and our faces got SO close and it was just absolutely....UGH... electrifying. Amazing.
He's amazing. He's not perfect, by far, the stuttering is awkward at best, and he's very virginal for someone who's 24, but nonetheless he is amazing and i could fall fast and hard for him.
Like most guys that seem really good, I did an astrological compatibility chart reading, and let me first say this: i have NEVER had a chart reading with someone else that was THIS good. Hardly any bad at all, and even the bad had really good sides pointing to an even stronger relationship.
Superb. I've found a keepah.
Now comes the bitter to the sweet.
He's moving to Florida in August.
Already I've begged him to put it off until the 25th so that I can have time with him when I come home from tour. This is gonna kill me. 4 out of the 12 weeks he has left here in NH I won't be home. that's ONE THIRD.
It's sad.
I really do have the 3-month curse.
I don't know him well enough to be able to say 'i want this to last, let's keep this going long-distance'.
But we'll see.
He's not the player type, and he's undoubtedly motivated and driven towards his future career (special effects, SO COOL!) so I don't think i'd have to worry about another woman down in FL tryna bone in on him.
