Oh thank Zod that's over.
Did the two performances of my play last night. I wasn't expecting a big audience, and we didn't get one. I was feeling like shit - having had a small nap on my bed about half an hour before call and getting all congested and stuff. I think my pillow doesn't like me. So I'm not feeling crash hot, Djara, who played Kafka, just broke up with her boyfriend over something stupid and she was all pissed off. Kate (Swift) for some reason was annoyingly high on sugar and just wouldn't shut up. I had to go through nearly the entire soundtrack of Rocky Horror. I don't laud it that high, it doesn't really do it for me. But Kate, it seems, holds it in high regard because it possibly was the only production she has ever been in. Belgh. At least a couple of the other actors and I talked about not having a MySpace or stuff like that. Or at least, having one but never updating it or going to it and such. heh. Story of my life.
But, it went well. I'm just glad it's over. I've been running on adrenaline all week and will do all next week because of the Asian Tea Party. Once that's done on Wednesday though, I relax for a week, meet Tim, then start the work on finals. Oh, that will be fun. Not.
Have to look at getting my car too. Test drove the new Corolla and the new Yaris. I'm going to try for a Honda Fit and Civic this weekend. I want a green car, but the hybrids out now are a little expensive, even with the fuel savings. Sigh.
Gas is supposed to hit $4 this summer. o_O
I hope my Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack is loud enough to carry next door. The bastards were playing their guitars and such at 1am in the friggin morning. So I hope I wake them up at ...er... 11am in the morning. heh.
