There's always so much to see, hear, eat and absorb at Jazz Fest but we always take time out to check out the art at some point in the day. Roger, Juannie and I were all simply amazed at the work of Nicario Jimenez. He creates retablos using potatoes, plaster of Paris, a long toothpick and paint. The detail and the color in his work are fascinating. We spent fifteen minutes transfixed by all of the different ones on display.
