It's great that things are *finally* getting back to normal.

Is this a fresh, brand new futon mattress? Makes me think it is about time we replaced out 10 year old one. We built our own futon frame, if you can believe it. Solid as a rock.

I like the idea of an armoire but we don't have the room for it in our tiny bedroom.

You two should celebrate tonight with margaritas!

Finally! Yay! I woke up in the middle of the night in our bedroom and got confused about where I was.

We bought a new futon frame, mattress and mattress cover. Amazingly, the place we bought it all from on the internet ships for free. So it wound up being a lot cheaper than buying it from a local place we found because they charged a ton for delivery.

The armoire is actually for our den. The TV will be residing there.

And we did have margaritas!

I'm happy for you, but it's a shame the contractor isn't doing a great job for you.

Thanks! We fired the contractor right before Christmas and continue to discover things that were done half-ass or not at all. I have truly not heard one positive story about their contractors from all of the people I know who had to do storm renovations. Not one.

We didn't have near the damage you all did, we had landrieu (sp?) brother do our roof, and I would recommend them for that much, they were great, but extensive rennovations I don't know.
