My Day, by Kirsty aged 23 and Three Quarters
Things I have done today:
+ Got up at a reasonable hour of the morning.
+ Worked my few hours of the morning at the library.
+ Signed mortgage and house-related papers.
+ Sorted out a carpet for my house and a suitable time for the bloke to measure it all up.
+ Set up Sky for the house (and got a free portable DVD player. Sweet!).
+ Decided on which flooring and sofas to get for the house (sense a theme?).
+ Bought and ate fish 'n chips (and some mint chocolate ice-cream. For dessert. Chips and ice-cream just don't have the same appeal when they're on the same plate together.)
+ Realized I now have a mortgage to worry about, not to mention the fact that I spent a good half hour discussing different shades of cream carpet and what type of underlay would be best.
Oh crap. I think I've turned into a grown-up.
