yay plastination!
woohoo!! after fears that we weren't going to be able to see the body world exhibit while it was in charlotte, i found out today that it will be in st. louis starting in october! this means more financial freedom to make a fun time of it, a visit to my sibling, and maybe this time i can get the husband up into the arch (poor planning and high crowds last time).
oooh, this is exciting. granted, i would have liked the excuse to explore charlotte, but the timing was not working out well. now it is! hooray! i am so determined to see this exhibit. my boss got a big fat display book about it, which i flipped through and about had the eyes pop out of my head. so FREAKING cool. they went and saw it and declared it as awesome as it seems, so while it's in striking range i will activate my backstreet level determination settings to ensure the objective is achieved.
i wonder if we could blow some money at kimos. i mean, really. just salad, breadsticks and desert, and i would be satisfied. i don't even need the main course. that restaurant is worth going bankrupt in, and i'm not even kidding. we're talking the only restaurant i would put on the same level of roy's.
i am SO HAPPY it's friday. i feel really good, the weather is cool and the weekend will be gorgeous. plus, we dvr'd houses of holy last night, so i will FINALLY get to see it. alas, we have no more house, because we finished it. damn it. oh well.
also? if rags to riches wins the CCA next saturday, i will consider it a birthday gift from racing.
