yikes. went for a run last night (ohmygoshtheweatherisSOAWESOME), and my knee stiffened up. this usually only happens when i ride, and in the other knee. it still feels tight this morning, which is irritating

right back atcha. i've got my fingers crossed for your car situation. taking on the extra expense is scary, but in the long run you probably made the right decision. it will all work out!
robert sean leonard has held up well since the glory days of "dead poet's society." i don't blame you for having a minor crush ... hell, even a major one would be fun!
i've seen about ten episodes of house now, and i do like it ... it just kind of seems a little redundant to me ... diagnose a weird problem, get it wrong, do it again, get it more wrong, go through all the tests and medical databases, finally get it right, tell the family you got it wrong, let them argue and fume, get it right, get the patient well, and end with some snarky remarks. they all seem to follow the same basic formula. or maybe i've just seen the wrong 10 eps.
hugh laurie is REALLY funny though. i wish my writers would make ME that funny ;)
You know, seeing as you are such a fan of CSI (as am I), I'm surprised it's the formula that irritates you, since it's essentially the same.
Either way, the snarky remarks are worth their weight in gold. =) I think part of what is so interesting is the characters (aside from Cameron and Foreman, who irritate me more than intrigue me). I love trying to figure out where House's boundaries are, what he'll do and where he (if he) draws the line. His psychoanalyzation of everyone and his desperate need to assign order to any anomoly, social or medical, that he finds, is fascinating. Speculating on why Wilson remains House's "friend," and how far his neediness goes, is also interesting. I dunno. I'm a sucker for it. =)
Please tell me you watch Supernatural. I don't think I've heard you talk about it. If you don't watch it I will cry, because it should definitely be up your alley, and as many people should watch that show as possible to make sure it stays on the air.
although i know that CSI is formula, as is most episodic TV, it's never as apparent to me as it is with "House."
I watched the first few episodes of "Supernatural" then couldn't keep up as it fell on grad school nights. That's also why I stopped keeping track of things like Vmars, CSI, and Lost. I can DVR it now, though, if you tell me what channel it's on. I'd need to catch up.
It's on the CW at 9:00 on Thursdays. Which is why I will never watch Grey's Anatomy. =) Ever. Because the Winchester boys? SO MUCH HOTTER THAN ANYTHING GREYS HAS TO OFFER. hee.
If you ever wanna get together, give me a call! We'll do coffee or something. Now that I am working (yay!), I have a regular schedule...so most days anytime around 4ish on would work. Let me know!
Cool! I don't get home until 5:30, but after that weeknights are pretty free. Weekends are going to be pretty busy for the next few weekends. Parents in town next weekend and we go out of town the following weekend (I'm an aunt! Going to visit a new baby!), but we should definitely try to get together.
Yeah, we just started watching a couple of weeks ago. We ended up watching a couple of episodes almost by accident last season, and decided to dive into the whole thing. =) We love it. But now we hit the season 2 cliffhanger, and season 3 isn't out on DVD until late next month. Bummer.
