Well, after a solid 48 hours of conning, and the trip up, around C-bus, up to my grandparents, and back down in hellish downpouring rain and insane drivers, we are home. Actually, got home at 10 last night, but after hauling our crap back inside and returning the car and emptying out the cooler (everything else could wait), it was after midnight, and I said screw it. Went to bed.
Oh, but it's good to be home. Don't get me wrong, I adore AnimePunch. I get rabid and count-down and spazz and squeak and fangirl and flail. But, it's always good to come home, you know?
This year, highlights include: Furries stalking my sister (*snickers*), breaking 143 points on the achievements, watching our con-chair get waterboarded in the name of entertainment, watching a full-grown man get waxed to answer questions about pokemon, and lost my voice screaming wildly at the Protomen Rally. (Totally oggled Turbo Lover's arse.... He's really hot in eyeliner and grey pinstripe pants and a fedora, okay?? Lemme alone. ) Got caught in some moshing, and went to the rave and wore myself out fully.
Alot more than that, but I won't bore you all. ^_^ Needless to say, had a total blast, and can't wait for next year. And ideally, I'll get my own arse in gear and finished my damned suit of armor and take it. We only had like, 10 cosplayers. :\
In other news: I took Roxie down to the groomer's Thursday before I left for con. Dropped her off looking like this and this. Two hours later, I picked up this hellious, nightmarish, gods-ugly beast of a dog. I half expected to come back and mom say that Sam and Dean busted in the door and tried to kill her. Seriously. Sewer-Rat meets Mutant Dog and has fugly chupacabra babies or something.
I'm a bit scared of her. And now she shivers and shakes and trembles all the time like a chihuahua. >.<
Ugg's wings are just amazing. Thankfully s/he's a mellow little chick...doesn't mind if I stroke them and unfurl them and gape, so long as s/he's secure and happy. And the more they grow in, the more I see Gabriel having these colored wings.
