*shakes head* Ah, airplanes in the 1950s: so different from now!

I'm glad Dotty is getting to take her trip, though.

[Spoiler]I'm guessing the stop in Simmandy is the spoiler? This is not good, because Dotty most likely wouldn't be stopping for one of the cousins we don't know at all, and Danny is going to Simpan, which...really really hoping it's not Nick, but oh dear.

*needs to make a Dotty icon now*

Yes, air travel is very different. I'm not sure the high class service is worth the dress code - having flown in a suit for business, I can't recommend it.

It is nice that she's getting to travel like she always wanted.

It is the spoiler, but I'm not telling why she's stopping.

Dotty is going to have a blast I'm sure. And oh my goodness what service!

[spoiler] I'm with Rose, when you said Simmandy, I immediately thought Nick or someone we know. I have a feeling it's not Nick, but I'm still worried about him.

She is going to have a lot of fun. Yeah, airline service isn't what it used to be.

Yes, that's the little spoiler, but I'm not saying more than that. *zips

I'm glad that Dotty still gets to go to SimEurope! I can't help but wish that airline travel still had such good food. Though I'm fine with not having to dress up to go on an airplane.

I'm glad that she'll get to see it too. It would be nice if air travel was still that fancy (and with such good food!), but having to wear your best clothes would not be fun at all.

Aside from the fact that planes are much safer now, daaaaaaaaaaaamn I could not argue with that service.

Kind of makes you long for those days, especially if you were going on a long trip. But improved safety is a good thing, so I suppose the trade-off is worth it.

Wow, remember when airlines took pride in their services?! Me neither:)
