progress is progress
Kudos to spicedrum, who helpfully reminded me three hours ago that I hadn't posted any progress yet! (I should start a prize list.)
I do have some to report, at least. Not nearly as much as I'd hoped, as I had to scrap two whole pages due to a screwed-up reference, but every little bit counts, right?

Let's see, what else do I have to talk about? Not much, really. I saw Tangled earlier today with vivien529, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I know, I know, that movie's been out for a while, but somehow I missed it on the first round. Also, if I ever have a horse, I want one like Maximus. I'm just saying.
Did four miles on the treadmill tonight, and a full 5K of that was at what I'd hoped to set as my "race pace" this weekend, so I am definitely calling that a personal win.
Right now I'm finishing up for the evening while comfortably settled on the couch with Talia beside me, with Thor playing on TV in the background. There are definitely parts of that film I like much better than others, but I think by now I know it well enough that I can look up to catch my favorite scenes. A good many of them involve Idris Elba, who is simply amazing. A number of others involve Loki, and Sif of course, and several do involve Thor - particularly when he's wandering around on Earth being so joyfully and completely out of context!
... yeah, that's about it. Clearly my brain has given up for the evening. I'll try to have something resembling actual content next time. Night, all!
