Just. Not in time. *is seriously trying not to cry at the desk*
Dean. Oh, Dean. And Sam. And -- and-- Sam -- he was SO HAPPY. He looked at Jake and CHOSE not to kill him, you know? He faced his own inner darkness (see also Croatoan) and didn't succumb. He doesn't kill innocent humans (or those who could be innocent humans). He never has (Heart is the exception and I can argue it doesn't fit the model anyway, 'cause werewolf and also by request).
Okay, since i'm backtracking and reading commentary now, are you as upset at the complete disappearance of ellen (and jo) as I am? Whether you like the characters or not, they just vanished from any discussion at all, and I don't like that. I know the boys were pre-occupied, but they didn't bother to look for Jo at all, to make sure she wasn't being slaughtered along with all of the other hunters? really?

THAT CAN'T BE GOOD. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGH.
NEXT WEEK WILL NOT COME FAST ENOUGH.
Dammit, I liked Jake. And I did like Ava before, but... too many inconsistancies. (Oh, Andy. *pets him* Least he got through to Dean, yes?)
SAM BETTER NOT BE (PERMINANTLY) DEAD.
