This little machine can both brighten my day with surprises and be a source of incredible frustration all at the same time. Consider, for example, last night's Doctor Who marathon...
What's Great: Finding out after all but half of one episode of the marathon has aired that there was a marathon in the first place-- BUT that TiVo has thoughtfully recorded them all for me due to viewing patterns.
What's Not So Great: Discovering that halfway through a storyarc aired in two episodes that the channel signal glitched when TiVo tried to catch the second episode, and being treated to an hour's worth of the city council meeting instead of the second half of the story.
*commences banging head against desk once more*
However. It could be worse, and I am grateful for what I did see. :) Also that a birthday present from my sister and her husband makes it so that I can remedy this lack in about three weeks with the DVD set.
By the way, I do not feel sorry for Daleks. Not even that Dalek. No. I do not.
Really.
...stupid wanting to feel the sunlight. *sulks* Okay. Pity. Maybe a little bit of pity. That I'll grant.
Now I'm going to watch "The Parting of the Ways" again and regain sanity regarding Daleks in general.
