okay so the best buy trip as a whole, for me, was sadly unsuccessful. i got exactly ONE DVD. oh my gosh my DVD shopping abilities are lacking... i've officially only bought two as of now. i got young frankenstein today. SAY ANYTHING & SANDLOT WERE COMPLETELY MIA. :( and i LOVE those movies... alas, no copies were there. and i felt like crying. but i didn't. because i couldn't, for some reason or another.
oh man it's just so sad.
AND, i realized, as i was driving away from best buy with my dad, that i could've bought the royal tenenbaums! i felt so dumb. not only for my bad timing (i am notorious for this) but also for the fact that i totally forgot about it (while in best buy) in my sadness over the unavailability of two of the best movies ever.
the trip was good for my family as a whole though because we got 6 in all... eventually i'll come around because this is a very, very good thing. i'm happy, deep down, that we're expanding our DVD collection. but just for now i'm still mourning over john cusack and mike vitar, whom i both love with a passion.

i'm definitely checking the best buy website at exactly 12 am (or sometime thereafter) to see if the royal tenenbaums is still on sale.
and i hope it is.
