So my family has been having an ongoing debate the past few years over my dog, Connery and the mysterious disappearance of a nest full of baby bunnies. My father always calls the dog "Saint Connery" and insists that he helped the bunnies to freedom, carrying them gently on his nose to a safer spot. My mother just shakes her head and says "He ate them! It's a fact of life! There was no blood or fur because he swallowed them whole!"
The mystery was finally solved today when my father found Connery with a tiny shrieking baby bunny in his mouth. Don't worry, Connery didn't eat it, my father made him drop it and it scurried away. Later we saw another one sitting in the yard petrified too stiff to move. I put it in the neighbor's yard, but later we found it again trying to make it's way back to the nest. Dumb bunny...it's going to get eaten and there's nothing we can do.

My recital went fine (Wow. I did NOT expect that many people to attend...I feel extremely loved), as did my party (which ended up being actually very enjoyable for me)...we have ridiculous amounts of pasta salad left over, which I'm giving to my shift manager, Elliot. I got all of two people to sign my yearbook and Brandon Nitcher wrote that I'm the nicest person he's ever met...that kind of worries me, but I liked the compliment nonetheless.

Just talked to my future roommate for the first time on the phone just a little while ago. Seems that we'll be living in an all girl dorm, which neither of us wanted at all. She seemed relived that I didn't sound ridiculously girly and flighty. She does basketball and cross country and plans on majoring in English and graduated in a class of all of 50. I think we'll get along just fine, she seems really nice.

I'll update again in another month or so.
