New Look For Blog and Adventures In Portland
Today we went to the City on the bus and train. It was fantastic. We went earlier to our neighborhood Asian Market, which was awesome. We spent a lot of money there getting basic things like Oyster Sauce, Dashi Stock, Miso Soup, Two Miso Soul Bowls, Two Rice Bowls, Mirin, etc. Stuff like that.
The city was fun. We went to Noodles & Co. for lunch/dinner, and got a cupcake from the Jones Cupcake store. =D We ended up walking around for a good four hours, getting better acquainted with at least this part of town. We've got a LOT of exploring to do before things become more known to us, but we're getting a good start. We also got some ideas of places to apply, which is good.
I heard back from one of the people I interviewed with about Tutoring their kids. I'll start March 1st, getting $110/week, which means I'll be able to afford my life, but not much else. I'll still have to get a job for the other days in the week. Sigh. But. At least I have income and can start paying for things again! Yay me!
Other than that...things are going well. It's time for me to log off, get ready for bed, shag my man, and go to sleep!
