heat wave
One thing I heard multiple times when I decided to make the move up to the Bay Area was how nice the weather was. 70 degrees year round! What I failed to realize is that doesn't always apply farther down the peninsula, but yet we also don't have a/c units like the rest of the area.
Past two nights I've gotten home after 7 and its 90 degrees in my itty bitty studio. Blehhhhh. Windows and doors can only be opened so far, and my one tiny fan is cooling one segment of the couch only.
Side note- I had a fabulously fun weekend. Went back to Missouri to celebrate my dad's 50th with the family- weather was great, delicious food was plentiful and all around good times.
