happy birthday massu and 'merica
It's the fourth of July, which means it's Massu's birthday.... and the anniversary of my nation's independence. I think it's someone else's birthday too, in Johnny's, but I can't remember who. So, oh well.
Focusing on Masuda Takahisa.... I don't really remember the first time I saw him, but I know that when I was just getting into NEWS as a group, he was one of the first faces/members that I remembered. His smile and voice just felt so warm and kind... His smile still makes me happy. I had already known Ryo and I was Tegoshi-baited, so Massu was probably the third member that I learned to recognize.
The first drama I watched with him in it was Rescue with Nakamaru Yuichi, Daito Shunsuke, and Yamamoto Yusuke. . . I loved that drama. Loved it. I've re-watched it more than once. I think I learned to value Massu's talents more after that drama too, and I got into Tegomass <3

Can I tell you all how shocked I was to learn that Massu's body is perfect? Because it isn't like I thought it was bad, but I sure as heck hadn't set the bar so high for him. Hello delicious. Umai.
That isn't why I liked the drama, though. It didn't hurt, but yeah. Rescue is so good for so many reasons. Drama, strife, personal growth, explosions...
