Oh she found him alright. And completely without intention to do so, she would likely startle him. She silently came up behind him, waiting until he was done basking his hands in the water before speaking.
"Greetings, Sir Silverberg. I do believe you expressed an interest in collaborating with me on your latest project," she spoke in a soft and professional tone.
He had been startled by her, but still raised his head and glanced over his shoulder. "Hello Kasumi. Yes, I did."
Shaking the water from his hands he turned around to face her. "So many disagreements happen in this world because some people do not understand the ways of the other. I think it would be good to compile the customs of various nations for this reason and also because I think others would enjoy learning about them."
"I see. And I can assume you wish to use my skills of surveillance in this case, yes?" she asked, assuming that would probably be the most applicable talent in that regard.
He nodded. "While I'd like to think everyone would be honest about such things, I know that will not be the case. Some see divuldging such information as a weakness." After a moment, he gave a wink and added, "Besides, I think a few people would rather to speak to a bright young woman than an old man."
"W-what I meant to say was," Kasumi stuttered, growing a bit flustered at his comment. Always a way with words he had. "I meant that, perhaps, it would be better to observe the customs without the pressure of an outsider about. I will certainly ask, but I believe catching the moment as it happens could yield some interesting information as well. I will use what skills are neccesary for the job, either way."
"I'm sure you will," Mathiu answered, slipping one of his hands back into the water to create ripples. "Perhaps you can start with these people who claim to be from different portals. The air about them is odd to me."
"They had caught my attention as well. I'm not certain what to think, but they do not appear to be false in their claims from both their body language and tone of voice. I will see what can be done," she remarked, letting out a slight sigh.
