Why: Old friends catching up and discussing Mathiu's idea to compile information on the customs of all who reside at Budehuc.
Mathiu had been finding the fountain to be incredibly soothing the past few weeks. The sound of the water sliding over the stone reminded him of his time spent in the cave across the lake. It was there that he'd made himself stop drinking--not even one for social reasons. He'd felt too out of control when influenced by the alcohol and he couldn't afford to behave in such a manner. No matter miserable he felt, no matter how he missed Elza, he had to keep his head about him, and somehow, someway, the sound helped.
He'd asked Kasumi to meet him, but he hadn't given a specific spot. Though, knowing her, she'd find him on her own time and accord. Reaching down to dangle his fingertips in the fountain, he sighed and wondered if she would appear now. It seemed like a good time to talk, and he was feeling lonely.
