YES!! I have action figures! I bough art books!! I redid my LJ layout to Date Masamune! I totally slash Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura... not that they need much help. I'm pretty sure they spent most of the second season of the anime confessing their love of each other to anyone who would listen.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. YOU NEED TO SEE SOME CUTSCENES WHERE THEY ARE LIKE, SO AWKWARDLY GAY AT EACH OTHER, I LOVE IT LIKE THE BURNING IN YUKIMURA'S HEART BURRRRNING.

THE GAME, I SWEAR, DATE SPENDS THE ENTIRITY OF HIS ROUTES MACKING ON A VERY OBLIVIOUS YUKIMURA.
OMG I watched a few cutscenes and their love is so epic!!!! I loved the one scene where Date is about to kill Yukimura and Kojurou (Who also ships them like Sasuke) is all don't do it Date because I don't want you to have regrets. Bwahahahaha. And their epic fight cut scene where they fall exhausted to their knees in front of each other. I love those two for their awkward burning love. I blame the fact on them being dumb teenagers who are more used to fighting epic battles than going about romance.
I've only seen the subbed which is full of slashy goodness as well thanks to translator interpretation. :D They spent the whole second season pining for each other. It didn't matter that they shared like one scene together, they were constantly thinking about each other the whole time.
I want to play the game so badly... I'm in the entirely wrong country and so badly lack a system to play it on. T-T
THERE IS ONE CUTSCENE WHERE THEY ARE LIKE "Hey." "Hi. :|" "So... what have you learned from all this?" "TO ALWAYS WALK MY OWN PATH AND NEVER FALTER. AND YOU?" "Ehhh... I don't think I'll tell you. ♥" AND OH MY GOD, DATE IS SO AWKWARD WHEN IT COMES TO ROMANCING BOYS JKJAWE.
Date did grow up quite a lot in SB3, I think. He has all the confidence in himself and like, character development that Yukimura struggles with in S2 but I like how their growth parallels each other.
