IN THE CONTINUEING SAGA OF, MY LIFE IS REALLY VERY PATHETIC AND MOSTLY HILARIOUS, LET ME OFFER YOU A FURTHER GLIMPSE OF MY FACEBOOK WALL.

*BREATHE*

If you recall, last post I talked about rewearing an old costume of mine, Zhou Tai, which first made its appearance at Manifest, 2010.

While at Manifest, I was asked by this girl to take a photo with her.

This photo. Afterwards, I was tagged in her album and very amazed.

Because, you see, she uploaded the photo in her professional fan-following Facebook page. For fans of her adult work to follow.

I am just so... I DO NOT EVEN.

Meanwhile, I have been cheerfully hacking and slashing my way through Sengoku Basara, which has stolen my soul even more than SW3 did, because the... girls are more kickass? I like the character dynamics, or something, which is terrible timing as the SW3:XL gameplay vids are trickling out and I haven't watched them yet.

Surprisingly, after playing her, I find myself really liking Tsuruhime which I was not expecting at all.

It helps that her thing with Fuuma is alternately the sweetest thing ever and also, hilarious.

(And Ieyasu totally wants to set them up on a Sunday matinee movie date, with chaperones. ALSO, HIS FACE. So appalled and slightly distressed jkjkawe. Watch from about 3:05. Actually, listen from about 3:20, watch from 5:30, because I hate the way this player does things. So inefficient and hardly using Tsuruhime's haxx range and ridiculously amazing basara attack.)

ALSO, MOTOCHIKA BEING LIKE, A FIVE YEAR OLD IS NEVER NOT HILARIOUS. This person doesn't have Tsuruhime's green route but there is the end of her blue route. Watch allll of it because their interaction is one of the funniest things ever. Also, nothing is more amazing than RANDOM ADDED FUUMA. You also get the beginning of the Motochika forces official cheer. It starts off with Motonari roaring to his men, "WHAT DOES THE 'MO' IN 'MOTOCHIKA' STAND FOR?" and at some point, goes to 'CHI' for "CHISELLED, CAPTAIN, JUST LIKE OUR JAWLINES AND ABS."

Motochika was the biggest surprise for me. I thought he was SO COOL and then you play through and eventually realise he's a giant nong. :'D

I am also really loving Magoichi and Oichi, even though nothing has emotionally effected me as much as Ieyasu's red route ending with Mitsunari. But, randomly, Mitsunari and Magoichi? Surprisingly awesome together though, this needs a bit of context to really set up their crazy ass dynamic jjkkjawe.

Magoichi also refers to Date as a crazy turkey. And he calls her Boss Lady. This is like, plus a billion points on all sides kjklawe.

I did enjoy how they set up Magoichi and Oichi as polar opposites. One given over to despair, the other too afraid to ever grieve. You feel for both of them in the different ways they have to live on and bear their burdens. Somehow, I think Capcom actually did a better job of producing a cast of rounded, well-thought female characters than Koei but well. 8D I'll probably change my mind once I replay SW again.
