Summer's Coming
I love love LOVE walking around downtown. I get lost easily, so I bring Matt with me most days. There is so much to see and so many little, fun shops. I have found the place I want to get my tattoo done at, now I just have to get up the courage to go there and speak with one of the artists. Of course, the tattoo won't be getting done for a few months, but I like to have things planned well in advance.
Matt's at work, so I can write this here and gush a little. I'm going in to the custom embroidery shop to get him that hoodie we've been talking about for a couple years. It's going to be yellow with blue lettering on the front that says "Miskatonic University". I'm so excited. I hope he likes it...
Cleaned out all the garbage and recycling yesterday. What a chore! Took me two trips. Matt helped me break down all the boxes on the deck so that we can actually use it when it starts to get warmer. Which I asume is not going to be anytime soon, given the snow we've been having over the past few days. It's just so freaking COLD. This is the most awesome place I've ever lived, but it better be as cool in the summer as it is cold in the winter or I'll be pissed.
I don't have enough of a social life. I did have a martini party last Friday, but that seems so long ago now. I wish I had set hours so I could get out more. At least Matt's new job is predicatable and we can schedule around it.
Two weddings this summer. I guess I'm of the age where everyone has decided that they need to take that next step into committment. Weird to see so many couples getting married. Ah, well. At least I get to go shopping for gifts! I love giving gifts. I just wish I had more money so I could send more gifts... Stupid job only scheduling me for 22 hours a week. Which reminds me, I need a new job! Something fun and challenging.
