Perhaps the roller coaster wasn't too bad of a ride
I got a call back from The Philadelphia Tribune today. I didn't get the news clerk job.
However, I was offered a part-time freelance job. The paperwork I need to fill out and return is pending, but I have the job. The pay rate per story is a decent amount of money, but unless I can do three a week (which I doubt at this time) I don't really have a reason to quit PetSmart and I never intended to leave UPS. So, if all works out I'll see how I can handle a story a week and reduce my hours at PetSmart to about 8 to 13 per week. With all of this it suddenly means I'll have to increase my free time efficiency but I think I can do it. I think I'll be carrying my laptop around quite a lot from now on.
Ah well, I should get going or else I'm not going to be able to run some needed errands before work tonight.
