Air conditioning during a heatwave, who needs it?
The heatwave is so severe (over 100F with humidity in some places) that a citywide warning has been issued until tomorrow night. My bedroom is woefully lacking in a window unit air conditioner so the entire space is unlivable. Unfortunately for me, none of my friends or family have the time or the want to install the unit (I'd do it myself but it's way too heavy to lift) so I remain without a space to call my own. In the meantime I'll be living in the basement (with Mark) until the someone can finally install the AC. As a plus I have easy access to my gaming consoles, my computer, a very powerful air conditioner and a bathroom, but I don't like sleeping in the basement.
Now I'm wishing that this heatwave could have hit sooner, as in when cwtyger used the area as his den for two weeks.
And I'm just about ready to head off to work. If it's nearly 100F outside, it must be well over 110F in the UPS hub.
