One those "before you have a nice life" moments...

Man there's nothing like a surprise assignment to sour the mood of being done with class. Then again it is from MURL so I shouldn't be so surprised, since that class, while making good strides in the right direction can still be frustrating and random at times. That optional spot news assignment, that I thought was optional, it is now required. At least that's what my professor told me before I had the chance to leave class and taste freedom.

To be honest the entire ordeal was something like shaking the hand of a person who pushed you hard throughout the year, whom you had come to respect a bit as you make your way through the door, a door that you'll most likely never pass through again. But before the door can be completely exited and you have yet to let go of the person's hand that you're shaking, you receive a swift kick to the ass. You're then left tenderly cradling your ass and wondering what the hell just happened. Yeah, my last few moments of MURL felt something like that.

As for today, I slept for about 12 hours and did nothing except clean the pigsty that my room had become in the last week and a half. I also watched a special about Kodiak Bears on the National Geographic Channel as I contemplated starting my homework on Sunday night. Then again, I'm more so tempted to tune into those new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad since it has been a few weeks/months since I've taking the time to sit down and watch TV at a set time (other then the news).

At the same time I can't help but fret about my lack of free time (and my proverbial sore ass).

wtf???, classes, school, homework
