Last week was one of those typically busy weeks. I finished my assignments okay for the most part, but yeah I hate being that busy and stressed out

Man, that MURL assignment was the worst thing I've wrote in a while. If they try to use this to tell us that our writing is bad, then I am going to SNAP.
And I think you forgot the part when Washington said that he gave us the assignment two weeks prior to Tuesday, when he only gave it FIVE DAYS AGO LOLWHUT. So, so infuriating....
Hope you have (or had) fun with showing your Pokemans. :P
I didn't forget, I just didn't feel like writing about it. X_x And who could write a "feature" article on such short notice with constantly changing requirements?
It turns out the guy just started the game... Not only could I not trade him but I ended up wiping the floor with him with in battle. It wasn't a fair fight so it was a shallow victory. Meh. I told him to come back when I played the game some more.
And to think, some people probably never knew what the requirements actually consisted of! I mean, I don't believe this class, and it may take the cake as the most unorganized class I've ever taken.
So it sounds like: "My Pokemans! I'm not showing you them!" Good job telling him to go back to school or he'll get schooled!
(Not that you actually told him that. Verbatim, at least.)
Professional reporters also have the advantage of working for professional editors.
Reminds me a chemistry teacher I had in high school. The day after a lab she asked the class if anybody had recorded the barometric pressure and temperature of the laboratory during the experiment. Nobody did because she didn't tell us to do so. She then informs us that we all failed for that experiment.
It is true that not all reporters would make good editors. Ugh. Come to think of it a lot of the journalism professors that I do hold in high regard (for print anyway) were editors at some point in their lives.
I hope your class complained about that. Or did she give some half-assed excuse saying that you should have known to record the barometric pressure and temperature? =p
She gave a half-assed excuse. Apparently it never occurred to her that an entire class failing to record this was really more of a reflection on her than on us.
