One bright spot...

I just got my results from Thursday's law exam back, via Blackboard. The verdict? I did MUCH better than I thought I would, given that I didn't study as much as I wanted to. Out of 100 points, I got 97 and the class average was about 77. Not that I'd want to go through that exam again, some of the questions were so tricky they made my head hurt. I suppose I'll get a better understanding how I did, when the exam is passed back tomorrow. If there's anything I learning from this class, it's that knowing law is important, and that I'd never want to be a lawyer.

On the other hand, my anthropology exam wasn't as hot. 89 points out of 100, and some of those were partial credit and extra credit. Though the class average was about 80, so I managed to beat that. unlike the law exam, I didn't get the time to really study at all, or else the difference might have been greater.

In both cases it looks like I get another chance, as I have another test for anthropology next week and an exam for law at the end of the month. Ugh.

And I'd like to forget today as far as class went. Why does it take two hours just to borrow a video from reserve and get that to actually work? What's the point of giving out DVDs if the computers can't play them or the function has been removed? It's nice to see my student fee dollars at hard work. It seems the only reliable computer for school is my own (laptop), except for when I need to print documents.
